Sandy Springs police helped federal agents make an arrest last week in a deadly Atlanta mass shooting case. Now the FBI wants the public's help finding the last of three suspects still at large.

The FBI Atlanta Violent Crime Task Force, Atlanta police and Sandy Springs police arrested Nasir Williams on Monday, Aug. 24, in the Sandy Springs area, as we reported Friday. Williams and a second man, Rico Arnold, are both in jail facing charges in the shooting, according to 11Alive.

The FBI and the Atlanta Police Department announced Thursday, Aug. 27, that they are searching for a third suspect, Ze'Kevious Zenard Perry. Perry, 24, faces felony murder and 10 counts of felony aggravated assault, according to 11Alive. The FBI considers him armed and dangerous and describes him as 6 feet 2 inches tall and about 180 pounds. Law enforcement agents said Perry has ties to the New York City area and is believed to be there.

The shooting occurred around 1:27 a.m. on July 28, 2025, at 349 Edgewood Ave. SE in Atlanta's Sweet Auburn neighborhood. Atlanta police said it began near a streetcar stop. The gunfire killed 27-year-old Santos J. Wyatt and injured 10 others, who ranged in age from 18 to 29.

Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum said at a press conference after the July 2025 shooting that 34 shell casings were recovered at the scene. He said police believe witnesses likely have video that could help solve the case.
