Sandy Springs voters can begin casting ballots Tuesday, Oct. 13, at three locations as Fulton County opens early voting for the Nov. 3 general and special election.

Advance voting continues through Friday, Oct. 30, at 32 sites countywide, according to the county’s announcement.

Where to vote

The three Sandy Springs locations are:

  • North Fulton Service Center, 7741 Roswell Road
  • North Fulton Training Center, 5025 Roswell Road
  • Sandy Springs Library, 395 Mount Vernon Highway

Voting hours are 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday and noon–5 p.m. Sunday.

Fulton County voters may use any of the county’s early voting locations.

Returning an absentee ballot

Sandy Springs Library has a designated absentee ballot drop box available during early voting hours, according to the county’s voting locations page.

North Fulton Service Center also accepts absentee ballot returns as a county registrar’s office. It is not listed as one of the seven designated drop-box locations.

Other registrar’s offices accepting returns include:

  • Fulton County Government Center, 136 Peachtree St., Suite 2186, Atlanta
  • Fulton County Election Hub and Operations Center, 5600 Campbellton Fairburn Road, Union City

Voters may also return completed ballots by mail. The county warns that absentee ballots cannot be returned at an Election Day polling place.

Absentee voting deadlines

Applications for absentee ballots must be received by Friday, Oct. 23. Voters should allow time for their application to be processed and their ballot to arrive.

Completed absentee ballots must reach election officials by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3. A postmark does not satisfy the deadline.

Residents can find application instructions, return options and election information on the Fulton County absentee voting page.
