Sandy Springs police are investigating a death at the Celebration at Sandy Springs apartment complex after someone was found injured in a second-floor unit on the evening of Friday, Aug. 28.

Officers, detectives and crime scene teams responded to the complex at 7000 Roswell Road NE and remained on scene for hours, according to 11Alive, as first noted by Patch. Part of the parking lot was taped off during the investigation.

The Sandy Springs Police Department has not identified the person who died or released details about the circumstances. No arrests have been announced. An autopsy is pending to determine the cause of death.

The department has not issued a press release or posted about the investigation on its social media accounts as of Saturday, Aug. 29.
