A fallen tree on power lines shut down Lake Forest Drive at Steward Drive on Monday, July 20, blocking the roadway with no timeline for reopening.

The Sandy Springs Police Department posted the closure alert at approximately 3:12 p.m., warning drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes. A photo attached to the post showed the tree draped across power lines over the road. The department did not confirm what caused the tree to fall, and no injuries were reported.
