Four Riverwood International Charter School football players walked through the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta on Friday, July 24, as representatives of the Raiders program at the 2026 Fulton County Schools Football Media Day.

Beck Smith, Jaden Keys, Tison Fleming, and Jake Kaplan joined head coach Josh Coffey at the annual preseason showcase, which brings together players and coaches from across the district. Four Raiders made the trip.

Riverwood principal Kindra Smith, Ed.D., was also in attendance. "Enjoying our time at FCS football media day! Let's go Riverwood!!" she wrote on X on Friday, July 24.

The appearance marks a preseason milestone for a Raiders program entering its first full season under the current coaching staff configuration. Coffey's staff includes assistant head coach Robert Hicks, who played at Mississippi State University, earned first-team All-SEC honors, and was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the third round of the 1998 NFL Draft. New additions to the coaching staff for 2026 include co-defensive coordinators Chris Wilkerson and Rico Lyons, and special teams coordinator Jonathan Beverly.

Smith, a 6-foot-5, 265-pound tight end wearing No. 54, is a Class of 2027 prospect listed on the Riverwood varsity roster, according to Hudl. Position details for Keys, Fleming, and Kaplan were not available.

Fulton County Schools Director of Athletics Lamarr Glenn announced the district-wide media day on X on July 24. The event brought selected players from each Fulton County school to the Hall of Fame for preseason photos and profiles ahead of the fall campaign.

Riverwood competes in GHSA Region 7-6A. Fall football tickets are available through GoFan, with digital season ticket packages offered through the Riverwood Athletic Association.

The Raiders' Raider Rally is scheduled for Thursday, July 30, at the school. The season opener has not been confirmed by Riverwood, though opponent schedules on MaxPreps point to a possible August 21 kickoff at Hoskyn Stadium.
