North Springs High School seniors have until Friday, Oct. 2, to sign up for the school-day SAT, the school announced Sept. 17 on its official X account.

Twelfth graders must register through a link the school provided. Students in ninth through 11th grade are automatically enrolled in the PSAT and do not need to sign up. All students taking either test must bring their school-issued devices.

The school's post did not list the specific PSAT or SAT test dates at North Springs. The national PSAT/NMSQT testing window runs Oct. 1–30, with each school choosing its own date, according to test-prep site ConnectPrep.

North Springs, located on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, is part of Fulton County Schools. The district has made school-day SAT access for seniors a standing priority, giving 12th graders dedicated time during the school day to sit for the exam.

That push has shown results. In 2025, 5,135 Fulton County students took the SAT, the district's highest number since 2019. The district average score of 1,076 was 47 points above the state average and 80 points above the national public-school average.

Fulton County Board of Education President Kristin McCabe said in a September 2025 district news release that the board is "committed to continuing to prioritize financial access for seniors to the SAT test as well as provide dedicated time in which to take the test."

The PSAT/NMSQT testing window opens Oct. 1. North Springs has not published its specific test dates in text form, so families should check with the school's counseling office for exact scheduling.
