Riverwood's volleyball team swept Gainesville 3-0 in a GHSA Region 7-6A home match Thursday, Sept. 17, staying unbeaten in region play heading into fall break.
The win pushed the Raiders to 3-0 in region play, according to MaxPreps standings.
Riverwood Athletics said on X after the match that the sweep was a strong finish to the week before fall break.
The result caps a productive September for the Sandy Springs program. The Raiders finished second in the Fulton County Tournament earlier in the month, and head coach E'Lisa Ladson was named the Riverwood Athletic Department's September Coach of the Month.
Riverwood enters the break 3-0 in Region 7-6A.
