Sandy Springs voters will have two nearby locations to cast early ballots for the Nov. 3 general election after the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections confirmed 31 advance voting sites at its Aug. 13 meeting.
The North Fulton Service Center at 7741 Roswell Road and the Sandy Springs Library at 395 Mount Vernon Highway are both listed on the county's advance voting page and served as early voting sites in prior 2026 elections. The board reviewed the Nov. 3 advance voting list at its Aug. 13 meeting, though the final confirmed roster has not yet been published separately.
During the advance voting period, Fulton County voters can cast a ballot at any of the 31 sites, not just their assigned Election Day precinct.
The advance voting period runs through Oct. 30, according to a Fulton County press release. The state requires advance voting to begin Oct. 13, with mandatory Saturday voting on Oct. 17 and Oct. 24. Fulton County's press release lists the period as Oct. 12–30; residents should confirm the exact start date with the county elections office.
What's on the ballot
The Nov. 3 ballot carries the general election, nonpartisan races and a special election for Fulton County Commission District 4. It also includes a TSPLOST renewal for transportation projects and a Fulton County Schools education sales tax, both of which would directly affect Sandy Springs taxpayers.
The TSPLOST renewal would provide North Fulton cities with dedicated road, intersection, sidewalk and bridge funding. Fulton County Commission candidate Bridget Thorne wrote on Facebook on Aug. 4:
Key dates and deadlines
- Voter registration deadline: Monday, Oct. 5 (by mail, in person or online)
- Advance voting: Through Oct. 30 at any of 31 countywide locations
- Election Day: Tuesday, Nov. 3, at assigned precinct polling places
On Election Day, 129 polling locations will open across Fulton County. Voters must report to their assigned precinct.
Fulton County Director of Registration and Elections Nadine Williams said in the county's Aug. 5 press release that poll workers "play a vital role in maintaining accessible and accurate elections." The county is recruiting poll workers, with priority given to Fulton County residents and those who worked earlier 2026 elections.
How to vote by mail
Absentee-by-mail ballots can be returned by postal mail, at a Fulton County Registrar's Office, or at one of seven advance voting locations with a designated drop box. They cannot be returned at Election Day polling locations.
Residents who have not registered must do so by Monday, Oct. 5.
