A man wanted on a Fulton County homicide warrant was taken into custody Saturday night in Lamar County after a joint operation between the Lamar County and Fulton County Sheriff's offices.
Tavorian Lindsey, also known as "Lil Toonk," was arrested without incident and turned over to Fulton County deputies at the scene, according to the Lamar County Sheriff's Office. Lamar County is roughly 60 miles south of Atlanta.
During the operation, investigators recovered multiple firearms, including rifles and a handgun, along with other evidence, the sheriff's office said.
Lamar County Sheriff Brad White credited the arrest to cooperation between the two agencies.
"The successful apprehension of this homicide suspect is a direct result of the strong partnership between our agencies," White said in a statement.
Deputies and investigators from both the Lamar County and Fulton County Sheriff's offices carried out the arrest. Once Lindsey was in custody, Fulton County deputies took him from the scene. The Fulton County Sheriff's Office executes arrest warrants across all of Fulton County, which includes Sandy Springs.
Authorities have not released details about the underlying homicide case, including the victim's identity, the date or location of the killing, or the specific charges Lindsey faces. No court date or arraignment has been announced. The investigation remains ongoing.
The Lamar County Sheriff's Office has not disclosed the exact location of the arrest within the county or how investigators tracked Lindsey to the area.
