Visit Sandy Springs announced a new tourism brand Oct. 5, pairing the city’s King and Queen office towers with imagery representing the Chattahoochee River.
The “Realm of Possibility” campaign introduces a redesigned logo showing the towers above two waves. The design brings together the city’s skyline and outdoor attractions, according to the announcement reported by Rough Draft Atlanta.
The campaign is scheduled to continue through June 2027. It targets leisure travelers, group travelers and travel planners within a 300-mile radius, using print, digital and other marketing channels.
Visit Sandy Springs projects that the campaign will reach more than 25 million consumers. That figure represents its anticipated marketing audience.
“Here we have the best in both urban and suburban living,” Executive Director Adam Berrios said in the announcement.
Landmarks anchor the design
The King and Queen towers stand at Concourse at Landmark Center near the Ga. 400 and I-285 interchange. Their distinctive crowns resemble chess pieces.
The river imagery highlights another part of the city’s tourism appeal. Sandy Springs has more than 22 miles of Chattahoochee shoreline, according to the city’s outdoor recreation page. The river and surrounding parks offer opportunities for hiking, fishing, kayaking and other recreation.
Tourism marketing and funding
Visit Sandy Springs describes itself as the city’s destination marketing organization. It promotes local hotels, restaurants, attractions and events and helps planners arrange meetings and group visits.
City hotel-tax revenue supports the organization’s work. Sandy Springs’ approved FY2025 budget included a $1,687,350 allocation to Sandy Springs Hospitality from the hotel-motel tax fund.
That annual allocation does not establish the cost of the new branding campaign. Rough Draft’s launch report did not specify a campaign budget.
